Takayuki Kondo is a Professor and the Head of the Department of Neurology at the Kansai Medical University Medical Centre. He specializes in the treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis, other central nervous system immunological diseases, and myasthenia gravis, serving individuals from across western Japan. Prof. Kondo was engaged in neuroimmunology research in the National Centre of Neurology and sychiatry (NCNP) and the Neuroimmunology Branch of National Institutes of Health (Bethsda, USA). He is actively conducting in immunopathology research utilizing human samples collected from patients and supervises young researchers in the field.
