Dr. Olga L. Rojas is a Scientist at the Krembil Research Institute, University Health Network, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Immunology at the University of Toronto. Trained as a physician and immunologist in Colombia, she completed her PhD in Immunology and later pursued postdoctoral research in neuroimmunology at the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on the gut-brain axis, exploring how intestinal B cells and plasma cells influence neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration in diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s.
