Paris | France

Aleksandra Deczkowska did her PhD in neuroimmunology with Michal Schwartz, where she explored immune signaling driving the function of the choroid plexus and microglia in aging. After a post-doc in immunogenomics with Ido Amit at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, she opened her lab for Brain-Immune communication in 2021 at Institut Pasteur in Paris, France. Her lab uses the most recent methods in genomics, as well as classical tools of immunology and neuroscience, to decipher immune contributions to the choroid plexus function and their role in shaping brain development and aging.
