Dr Norio Chihara is Project Associate Professor of Neurology at Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine. He graduated from Kobe University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine and neurology at Toranomon Hospital and National Center Hospital, NCNP. He then completed his postgraduate training at the National Institute of Neuroscience, NCNP and Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston. He is currently Chief of the Neurology Outpatient Service at Kobe University Hospital. His clinical and research interests include understanding the interactions between the immune system and the nervous system.
